Based in Austin Texas, Veronica “Riki” Rushing most recently Executive Produced Long Shadows, an American Period Piece film starring Blaine Maye, Sarah Cortez, Grainger Hines, Jacqueline Bisset, Dominic Monaghan, and Dermot Mulroney, now in post production. She also served as Executive Producer on Castro’s Daughter, starring James Franco, premiering in film festivals in 2024. She also executive produced the independent films Death in Texas, Frank & Penelope and Radley,

Riki executive produced the docseries QT8 – The First Eight about filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, and the upcoming Untitled Tim Burton Documentary.

Riki’s films have screened at Cannes, SXSW, and the Riviera International Film Festival. She serves on the board of the Austin Film Society and hosts the Rockport Film Festival.

Riki is an executive producer on “The Outsiders”, a musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s 1967 novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 movie, heading to Broadway. The show will open on April 11, 2024 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater with Angelina Jolie on board as a producer. Previews will begin on March 16, 2024. Before transferring to Broadway, “The Outsiders” had its world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse in March 2023.
